DURATION: 25 minutes
TICKET: €5 single admission
The Walks is a collection of audio-guided urban walks: each route lasts about 20 minutes and is designed to be experienced in different locations across the city through a dedicated app.
Each experience weaves together stories, sounds, and music, transforming the simple act of walking into a gesture of connection and discovery within urban space.
In recent years, especially after the pandemic, walking has taken on a renewed meaning: a way to inhabit the city, move through it, and see it with fresh eyes.
The Walks brings this practice into a theatrical dimension, where voices and sound transform everyday spaces into a narrative stage shaped by listening and movement.
The experience begins together at Parco Tre Castagni with the “Park” track; afterwards, participants are free to explore the other walks across the urban spaces of Pergine.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Walks is a free app available on the App Store and Google Play. Once on site, you will receive an activation code to start the experience.
Technical requirements: an up-to-date operating system (Android 5 or later / iOS 13 or later) and approximately 100 MB of free storage space to install the app.
IN SHORT
The Walks is an app featuring nine audio walks that invite you to rediscover the city in an unexpected way. Stories, sounds, and instructions turn everyday locations into theatrical experiences to be lived in motion. Our starting point will be Parco Tre Castagni.

Helgard Haug, Stefan Kaegi, and Daniel Wetzel founded the theatre collective Rimini Protokoll in 2000, based in Berlin since 2003. From the outset, they have developed projects that expand the language of theatre and open new perspectives on reality.
Their works often involve non-professional performers and transform social contexts and real spaces into performative formats. Their practice is characterized by interactivity and the creative use of technology. Among their best-known projects are the staging of the Daimler-Benz shareholders’ meeting; Call Cutta and Call Cutta in a Box, based on phone conversations between audiences and operators in India; 100% City, featuring 100 statistically selected citizens; World Climate Conference, exploring global diplomatic dynamics; Situation Rooms, an immersive experience on biographies linked to weapons; and Utopolis, an urban walk guided by speakers.
In recent years, the collective has also developed increasingly interactive installations for museums, such as Win><Win and Urban Nature.
Their work has been repeatedly invited to the Theatertreffen in Berlin and has received numerous awards, including the Mülheim Dramatists’ Prize, the Faust Theatre Award, the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale Theatre, and the European Theatre Prize.
