LANGUAGE: Italian
DURATION: 30 min walk, 70 min performance
TICKET: €13 full price, €11 reduced
The audience meets in Località Belvedere in Levico and, accompanied by Luca Stefanelli / Montanamente, walks through the landscape to reach Forte delle Benne, a historic Austro-Hungarian fort overlooking Lake Levico. The walk is part of the experience: a shared time that prepares the encounter.
In the setting of the fort, Veglia comes to life: an evening of storytelling, live music and games, where audience and performers share the same space, seated in a circle around a symbolic flame.
Inspired by Le cercle des menteurs by Jean-Claude Carrière, the performance weaves together stories suspended between truth and fiction, collective challenges, and convivial moments, directly involving those who take part in the evening.
The narratives, marked by subtle irony, explore themes such as perception of reality, deception, time, and power, inviting reflection without giving up the pleasure of play.
Veglia is not only a performance: it is a shared space to meet, listen, and be together, keeping attention alive on the present and on how we inhabit the world.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Forte delle Benne cannot be reached by car. It can be accessed on foot via a trail with an elevation gain of approximately 150 meters. Cars may be parked at the parking area near the tennis courts in Località Belvedere.
Visitors are advised to bring a headlamp, water, and, if desired, a packed dinner for a picnic before the performance begins.
The performance is presented in collaboration with Forte delle Benne, whom we thank for their support.
IN SHORT
It begins with a walk: the audience climbs together towards Forte delle Benne, moving through the landscape before the performance even starts. Around a symbolic flame, stories, live music, and games unfold between truth and fiction. A collective experience that invites us to stay present, alert, together.
