ITALIAN PREMIERE
The city where we are born – and sometimes escape from – pulls us back like a vortex we can never fully leave.
Voices, memories, changes, and sediment make every return a renewed rite of passage, with a growing emotional weight.
Jonathan Zenti tells of an ordinary return that becomes a descent into murky emotions accumulated over the years, lingering at the edges of life’s frenzy like debris left by a river.
In a transient space – the entrance of a hotel – amid arrivals, departures, and people at the bar, a personal story unfolds in headphones. Narrative and soundscapes intertwine with urban and relational geographies, creating maps of comings and goings that mark the rhythm of life.
IN SHORT
A headphone performance in a hotel lobby: amid arrivals, departures, and the hum of daily life, an intimate story unfolds about returning to one’s hometown, stirring memories, hidden emotions, and reflections on existence.
