The body of music is a workshop that invites participants to explore music as a sensory and bodily experience.
Music is not only heard with the ears, but also felt through the body thanks to sensory platforms that transform sound into physically perceptible vibration. By lying on the platform, participants can experience music as movement, energy, and presence.
The workshop opens up a different way of perceiving sound, where listening and the body coincide. For Deaf participants, it also becomes a direct way of accessing music through vibration.
The music explored is taken from Bambini nel buio by Balletto Civile.
IN SHORT
A workshop that explores music as a physical and sensory experience beyond hearing. Through sensory platforms, sound becomes vibration and the body becomes a space of listening.
