Piece for two with ten plants explores the relationship between humans and plants through sounds, gestures and stories.

A Boy, a Biologist and a Musician try to dialogue with plants, each with their own expressive means. Memories, rituals, and shortcomings emerge.

On stage, beyond the human component, the plants alongside a sensor allow for electrical signals of plants to be translated into sound. A first step to get closer to a true interspecies dialogue, which utopianly will no longer need intermediaries.
The show questions the possibility of seeing the plant world, not as a reality inferior or similar to us but as an “other subject” with which it is vital to attempt a dialogue and from which, learn a new way of being in the world.

But if on the one hand we can no longer afford to be anthropocentric, is it really possible to be anti-anthropocentric??

The position that the show takes is deliberately and inevitably ambiguous.
