Pergine Festival launches Mi Specchio nel Domani, a cultural co-design project created together with the students of the Marie Curie Institute in Pergine.
At the end of the last school year, they were the ones who selected the shows that make up the project: three productions by national theatre companies that speak directly to their world — about adolescence, dreams, and relationships.
From this participatory process, a clear need emerged: the desire to feel represented, to see oneself and one’s own reality reflected on stage.
Thus, theatre becomes a living space where young people and artists meet, share experiences, and build content that truly speaks about — and with — them.
With Mi Specchio nel Domani, Pergine Festival reaffirms its commitment to participatory and community-based theatre — a practice that lives throughout the year and grows alongside its territory.
Three projects bring Mi Specchio nel Domani to life:
-
Rooteen 2 by Gli Omini: continues the exploration of adolescence, collecting the words, thoughts, and dreams of students. The final matinée performance will take place on December 12 at 11:00 a.m.
-
The Dream Bank – Pergine by Merli/Serena: a journey through real dreams and imagination, where young people explore the future, identity, and desire to create a collective performance. The final show will be held on January 22 at 11:00 a.m.
-
Love Meetings by Rita Maffei: an interactive workshop on emotions and relationships — an invitation to reflect on love, connections, and how we relate to one another. The final performance will be on February 23 at 11:00 a.m.
The project is made possible thanks to the ongoing collaboration with the teaching staff of the Marie Curie Institute, the support of Fondazione CARITRO, and the partnership with ariaTeatro.
