Super Fat Ginger Cat are a psych-fat-rock trio from Bologna. Their sound, infused with feline laziness and raw animal grit, moves between cosmic lightness and hypnotic darkness.
In 2021 they released MAW (Grandine Records), featuring the track “Planet Fish,” which became the theme song for the podcast Ho conosciuto Kurt Cobain – La storia dei Nirvana in Italia. After several live shows across Italy, they return in 2026 with HAO (NerOriginal/ Grandine Records): a more direct, powerful and visceral EP, where the band’s psychedelia becomes rougher and more intense.
The event is organized with the support of Fondazione Caritro as part of the Programmazione Culturale 2026 call.
