ITALIAN PREMIERE
What is age? Is it just a number? Or is it something that defines what we can do, how we should look, and how we are expected to behave?
And what about the historical era we live in? How much does it shape our bodies, determine where they can belong, how they should dress, and what form they are allowed to take?
On stage, three actresses, three bodies carrying different ages and lived experiences, challenge these rules and reflect on what it means today to be young or old, moving beyond the labels imposed by chronological age.
The backdrop is the present historical moment: an era in which bodies feel the need to meet, to become visible, to manifest, and to share experiences. The audience is part of the scene—not spectators, but society itself—invited to share the experience as a collective body that becomes voice and presence.
IN SHORT
Three actresses on stage question age as a simple number and the social expectations that come with it. With irony, they deconstruct these codes and explore the conventions imposed by chronological age. After all, what is age, really?
