Born in Vercelli in 1990, Carlotta Sillano is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her music, grounded in the use of voice and keyboard instruments, lies in a borderland between chamber folk and auteur songwriting. In her songs, she builds an evocative and complex imagery, drawing on classical literature, mythology and sciences.
Alongside her musical activity, she earned a PhD in Digital Humanities. As a researcher, she explores the relationship between sounds, geographical places, and narrative practices.
The event is organized with the support of Fondazione Caritro as part of the Programmazione Culturale 2026 call.
You might like Carlotta Sillano if you enjoy sounds inspired by Franco Battiato, Tori Amos and Bjork.
