Duck Baleno was born in Verona in 2019 from a meeting of different projects and influences, ranging from pop to electronic, from punk to psychedelia. The result is a personal, layered sound that is always in dialogue between musical worlds. After the release of the first single “Enough Time” in 2020 – selected among the top five of Vans Musicians Wanted – the band gave birth in 2022 to the debut album Popa’s Nightmare: a dark and dreamlike sonic journey, full of contaminations.
In 2023 important awards arrived, including the victory at the Supernova Contest in Bologna, the performance at the Color Fest opening for Franz Ferdinand, and first prize at the national contest of Controradio in Florence. 2024 marks the beginning of the collaboration with Saifam Music and of an intense live activity throughout Italy. The new album is scheduled for release in late summer 2025.
Mad Medulla formed in 2016 in Trento. The group started as a cover band inspired by names like Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Kula Shaker and Franz Ferdinand, and then evolved into an original sound that blends psychedelia, indie rock and electronic atmospheres.
In 2023 they began writing their own songs, influenced by artists like Tame Impala, MGMT and Pond. Their first single, “Tricks of Mind”, was released in 2024, followed by “Flowers” in 2025.
Mad Medulla are an altered state of consciousness, through music, they try to convey an experience that combines spirituality, energy and connection with the universe.
