Accessibility
Pergine Festival believes in culture as a common good, accessible to everyone. This value is reflected in the programming of artists with disabilities, the provision of services for audiences with disabilities, and collaboration with local organizations.
NO LIMITS project
In 2012, Pergine Festival launched the No Limits project, establishing itself as one of the first examples of festivals in Italy to focus on cultural accessibility.
No Limits is a project for cultural and social inclusion that combines the right to cultural participation and equal opportunities for people with disabilities with the need to empower cultural organizers, audiences, and institutions to overcome the (environmental and social) barriers that hinder a culture of inclusion and diversity.
Since 2020, No Limits has been coordinated by the cultural association Fedora
Within each individual show page, accessible performances can be identified using two different legends:
1) Performances marked with the accessibility icons, crossed-out eye or ear indicate the availability of services designed for people with sensory and physical disabilities (such as Italian Sign Language interpretation service, audio description, and subtitles).
2) Performances that do not include specific accessibility services are labeled as “Partial Accessibility.”
