GENRE: Psychedelic Progressive Rock / Indie Rock
TICKET: Free
The Nihilists were born in Modena in the spring of 2021 as a support band to bring Niki Poppi’s solo album, “Storie di (una) Natura Fragile” live. The project immediately transformed into something more: a creative collective where individual influences blend into a sound that starts from singer-songwriter and embraces folk, blues, psychedelic rock and ambient. In 2022 they released “Storie di (una) Natura Fragile – Ribalta Live Session”, a reinterpretation of the original album, reworked in a collective key and published for the first time under the name The Nihilists. Today the band offers a psychedelic progressive rock that builds, in each concert, an intense narrative and sound path, cathartic and deeply introspective.
Bruno Mari brings a musical universe made of contrasts to the stage: sweetness and rawness, delicacy and distortion, irony and gravity. Accompanied by the band The Noodles, its sound lights up with energy and opens up to sounds ranging from folk rock to punk, passing through funk and rhythm’ n’ blues nuances. An intense, unpredictable and nuanced live show.
