What does it mean to make a cultural programme accessible?
How to open up for participation and involvement of different audiences?
The accessibility of cultural contents for people with sensory disabilities is the focus of a training day addressed to cultural operators, based on theoritical and practical exercises. Ass. Fedora, in collaboration with the museologist Maria Chiara Ciaccheri, invites to reflect on the representation of disability through working approaches and tools to make a cultural programme accessible.

Game session: “Cards of inclusion”
Practical exercise for the definition of an accessible cultural project

Final reflections and closure
To follow, meeting at 19:30 in Piazza Fruet with Aperisegno, a dynamic format to approach the Italian Sign Language.
BIO
Associazione Culturale Fedora is Ginevra Bocconcelli, Valeria Lacorte and Luca Falbo. Established in Milan in 2018, it promotes accessibility in the cultural sphere for people with sensory disabilities, developing awareness-raising and consultancy activities for the development of accessible and inclusive activities.
Maria Chiara Ciaccheri is a museologist, expert in accessibility and learning modes for adult visitors. She specialised in the two-year MA in Learning and Visitor Studies in Museums at the University of Leicester (UK) and is involved in design, training and research.
