The Venice Biennale awarded the Silver Lion to Kae Tempest in 2021.

Giorgina Pi confronts the text Hold Your Own by Kae Tempest, a poet, rapper and performer. She brings to the stage the figure of Tiresias, who is an intermediary between the human and the divine, a way out of nature and simultaneity. Between old records and new impressions, the soothsayer is the poet who unites the mysterious theme of origin with the clairvoyance of the not yet.
