ITALIAN PREMIERE

 “Watching machine” is the name that in the 19th century indicated the machines used to create optical illusions with mirrors and shutters. In Macarena Recuerda’s show, the machine is the stage itself, with its minimalist set-up where the performer plays with lights, shadows and reflections moving along the thin border that separates illusion and theatrical representation.
