The Kites is an interactive music installation that enables a participatory
approach to listening.
Through the Kites the audience is invited to concentrate primarily on listening: listening to noises, listening to sounds.

Each Kites opens a window on the endless sound realities of the city of Pergine: identifying the hidden sounds or noises indicated on the Kites is a way to invite the visitors to enter this world of sound, experimenting with connections and developments. 

Each instrument, which responds differently according to a percussive impulse, can be played by the audience either individually or simultaneously with others; the musical action will take place within a dimension of sociability and sharing, centered on the act of listening. 

The musicians of azione_improvvisa ensemble will accompany the experimentation of the spectator by combining Kites with their instruments and invite visitors/musicians to bring with them their own instrument for participate in jam sessions, in which acoustic sounds can merge with the sounds played by the Kites.
