Winner of Supernova 2020 prize

A performance focused on the body, belonging to the broader collection On the reverse by Claudia Caldarano. The body creates bizarre figures, with the use of a latex mask worn by the performer on the back of the neck, causing a reversal of the perception of body mechanics. The artist explains: ” I “have” the body and “I am” my body; I can see it, not all of it. There remains a hidden part that has eyes in the fabric, through which I can imagine other figures inhabiting me. Assimilated then by a gaze filled with nostalgia”.
