SPECIAL PROJECT FOR PERGINE FESTIVAL

In 1978, the German electro-disco group Gina X Performance released its debut album, “Nice Mover”, now a classic of queer discography. Gina Kikoine, who often referred to herself as Gino, embodied those electroclash sounds and aesthetics that fueled the post-wave-fag imagery of the 2000’s. Never giving up on her tone of fluid stupidity, she reminds us to never take life too seriously, to just take it. That’s why I chose it.
