ROOTEEN. A survey in Pergine
Gli Omini
“Disappointment. But I’m fine. And I’m happy too.”
What do the young people of Pergine dream about? What scares them, makes them angry, or makes them fall in love?
“ROOTEEN. A survey in Pergine” is a theatrical journey that gives voice to the thoughts, fears, and hopes of Pergine’s youth and its community. Born from a week of residency by Gli Omini, this show captures raw, authentic stories straight from the streets, schools, and squares of the city.
A lively, heartfelt performance that shines a light on unspoken truths, generational contrasts, and shared dreams. It’s a mirror of a generation and a city—a space where words transform into emotions and silences are finally heard.
Presented in collaboration with ariaTeatro as part of the season at the Teatro di Pergine, the show is also part of the Citizens on Stage project, supported by Fondazione CARITRO.
