R. OSA – 10 exercises for new virtuosity
Silvia Gribaudi / ZEBRA
CLAUDIA MARSICANO, WINNER OF THE 2017 UBU PRIZE FOR “BEST PERFORMER UNDER 35.”
R. OSA is a performance that fits perfectly into Silvia Gribaudi’s poetics. A choreographer with irreverent irony, brings to the stage an expression of the body, women and the social role they occupy. Inspired by Botero, the 80’s world of Jane Fonda, the concept of success and performance, it’s a “one woman show” where the audience are the protagonists, voluntarily or involuntarily, of the artistic action. R. OSA makes us think about how we look at others and what we expect from them by looking at our own judgments and focusing on a challenge: to continuously exceed our limits.
Why you should see it ➜ “Claudia Marsicano, alone on stage, is crazy and Silvia Gribaudi’s choreography is utterly brilliant. These two women bring life to a jewel of contemporary dance”.
