Oblomov show
Oyes
Oblomov Show is a theatre play inspired by Ivan Goncarov’s Oblomov, one of the most important Russian novels of the late 19th century. In his book, Goncarov takes to extremes a condition of apathy and resignation very similar to what the world experienced during the long months of the pandemic. In his rewriting of the text, Oyes moves on the delicate border between the mental dimension and real life, trying to recount in a tragicomic key the fatigue of starting over and the fear of getting back into the game.
