DAY 1
BAIBA – N.A.I.P. – SISMA TUMBAO
BAIBA
BAIBA is a young Latvian musician currently living in Innsbruck, Austria. In 2017, she released her debut album, “These Storms”, produced with the collaboration of Christoph Holzknecht (CHRS). In BAIBA‘s music, pop and electronic sounds blend with suggestions of Latvian mythology to create introspective and magnetic atmospheres. The singles “Running”, “Light inside”, “Touch you right” and “You don’t know me” have entered into rotation on major European radio stations. In 2020, she won the second prize at UploadSounds, the contest for musicians under 30 from Trentino, South Tyrol and Tyrol.
N.A.I.P.
N.A.I.P. is the acronym of “Nessun Artista In Particolare”, a musical project of Michelangelo Mercuri. Thirty years old, born in Calabria and currently living in Bologna, Mercuri has conquered the attention of the mainstream audience participating in the last edition of X Factor. He is a singer and a multi-instrumentalist: he plays electronic drums, synth, loop station and guitar, often simultaneously, in an extraordinary staging of teatro-canzone (song-theatre). His debut EP, “Nessun Album In Particolare,” was released on digital platforms in December 2020.
SISMA TUMBAO
Tropical rhythms, deep basses, in the sign of sound contamination. The project was born in Cuba, the country of the conga and precisely of the “tumbao”, the basic rhythm of Afro-Cuban music. Sisma Tumbao are Tobia Fiorese, from Bassano del Grappa, and Emanuele Femia, from Siderno, Calabria, currently living in Veneto. Different origins, geographical and musical, for a project that aims to shake the masses to the sound of decibels and vibrations.

SINCENSURA- BIG HOUSE – CACAO MENTAL – YARDIE GROOVE
SINCENSURA
SinCensura is a Trentino hip hop group born in 2015. It is formed by Ranabis, Masaaki and NastyKush, artists active for several years on the local and national scene. The tracks deal with social issues, but also with experiences related to the crew’s life. Among the musical references there is the American school of the 90/00s, with names like Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dog, Ice Cube and Wu-Tang Clan. “La Situa,” their debut track, has reached more than 12,000 views on YouTube. Last November, SinCensura released their first work as a posse, “Rakuma Mixtape,” a nine-track album made during the lockdown.
BIG HOUSE
Musician, rapper and producer: Gabriele Casagrande, aka Big House, has been cultivating a passion for everything to do with music since he was very young. He studied classical guitar, electric guitar and drums, until he fell in love with hip hop. In 2012, he started composing his first instrumental pieces; in 2013, he became part of the Birrette Family collective and opened the home studio BHL Records in Trento. In his works, he uses synthesizers and samplers, mixed with acoustic drums & breakbeats. Born in 1993, he already has four solo records to his credit (the last one in 2020, “Botswana Kid”) and a mixtape.
CACAO MENTAL
Cacao Mental combines cumbia, electronic music and psychedelia to contaminate the Latin American tradition with experiences coming from all over the world. The group was born in 2014 from the meeting between Peruvian singer Kit Ramos and Milanese producer and multi-instrumentalist Stefano Iascone, later joined by guitarist Marco Pampaluna. In his sound, acoustic and electronic atmospheres blend with the rhythms of cumbia, a musical genre that from Colombia has spread throughout Latin America. In 2017, the publication of the debut album, “Para Extrañas Criaturas”, anticipated by the song “Tingo Maria”.
YARDIE GROOVE
The Yardie Groove project was born at the beginning of 2013 by two friends with a passion for upbeat music. Peetah and Bebo, these are their stage names, want to make Trentino dance to the rhythms of Jamaican music, ranging between sub-genres and contaminations: from ska to rocksteady, from foundation to rub-a-dub, from raggamuffin to new roots, up to dancehall, soca and hip-hop. Over the years, the crew has collaborated with many local and national organizations. Currently, Peetah and Bebo present on Sanbaradio “Road to Ja”, a program dedicated to Reggae music.

BIANCA – PANEMILIANA – OPEN AIR CINEMA
BIANCA
Bianca, born Bianca Giacomoni, is a young South Tyrolean singer-songwriter, winner in 2020 of the Euroregional contest UploadSounds as best artist under 21. She approached music at a very young age: at the age of 6 she joined the choir of the Istituto Musicale Vivaldi in Bolzano, followed by the study of piano. She is actually enrolled at the Conservatory Bonporti in Trento, where she attends the course of jazz composition.
PANAEMILIANA
Bologna, Emilia and the whole of Italy are a crossroads of cultures and traditions, and Panaemiliana wants to be the road that crosses it. The group was formed in 2017 by the meeting of five musicians: Paolo Prosperini and Davide Angelica (guitars), Filippo Cassanelli (double bass), Manuel Franco and Danilo Mineo (percussion). The first record of the quintet (the homonymous “Panaemiliana”, in 2020) declines different musical universes: latin jazz, jazz, chamber music, world, ethnic and folk. Last March, “Ceramica” was released, an irreverent hymn to disappointed love.

LAGO FILM FEST
Born in 2005 in the picturesque lakeside town of Revine Lago (TV), Lago Film Fest is an international festival of short films, documentaries and screenplays. Nine days of meetings, videos, workshops, artistic performances, music and distinguished guests on the shore of the lake and among the stone houses, where cinema is the common thread and at the same time the pretext to meet, experiment and create.
PERUGIA SOCIAL FILM FESTIVAL
PerSo – Perugia Social Film Festival is an international festival dedicated to documentary film born with the intent to tell, through the cinema of reality, the social realm in its broadest sense and in its various articulations. The VII edition will be held in Perugia from October 5 to 10, 2021.
