Nuovo Cinema 500 is a project of urban cinema, engaging the inhabitants of the town in which the work is presented, in order to collect memories, testimonies and experiences. The mini-documentaries are delivered to the city in an exceptional movie theater: a historic Fiat 500 which, re-designed for the occasion, welcomes two spectators at a time during each projection. A work inspired by the identity of the local place, the collective Full of beans employs stories and memories of the town to bring them back to life, exploring new ways of living and sharing the urban space. From city to city, each stop is a new setting for a “memory film” shot with the inhabitants. 

The artistic research of Nuovo Cinema 500 arrives at Pergine to build an audiovisual atlas of the city. 

Through urban explorations, encounters, interviews and stories, a series 5 minutes mini-documentaries will be visible inside the Fiat 500.
