Ma per fortuna che c’era il Gaber – a journey through unreleased works and memories of Mr.G
Gioele Dix
On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of his death, Gioele Dix pays homage to the inimitable talent of Giorgio Gaber, considered by many to be the best interpreter of young people’s aspirations – citing one of his songs – “they were trying, perhaps with a little presumption, to change the world.”
The show is an original programme in theatre song by Gabor and Luporini, in which both known and unknown songs are intertwined: verses which have never been set to music, songs that have never been performed live, monologues sketched out and never completed.
Why you should see it ➜ “Gioele Dix gives a voice to Giorgio Gaber with intelligence and sensitivity. Gaber invented a genre: song theatre. He tells of his times and its contradictions. He is a master for us: a pleasure to listen to.”
