SCENARIO PERIFERIE 2023 PRIZE

Luisa was born from the meeting of a fragile woman called Luisa, she sews herself to the wind around her so as not to unravel herself from the world. She zigzags like a star lost in a constellation, trying to put back together its scattered fragments. She gives birth to them in her cut out sky so she can find again the thread of her life. Driven by a singing flurry, Luisa laps the boundaries of her Promised Land until she tears them apart as commandingly as Delacroix’s, ‘Liberty Leading The People’.

Why you should see it ➜ “An encircling show, delicate and touching. A show where dance narrates more than words. Where the dancer transforms herself into the character being described: Luisa, we hear her broken voice. Through Valentina we meet Luisa.”
