The Atlas of Wars and Conflicts in the World was born in 2009 from a project by journalist Raffaele Crocco, in order to illustrate the causes and the actors of the ongoing wars. Conceived as a real atlas, with photos and illustrations, the volume includes reports by Amnesty International, Unesco and Unhcr also in collaboration with University of Florence, the Environmental Conflict Documentation Center, Intersos, Arci and the University of Verona.
