“La lupa” is that thin fog that is created above the surface of the Strait of Messina (Sicily) and that laps the coastline thanks to the breeze; an expression of uncertain origins, full of mystery and ancient narrations.

In an atmosphere between synaesthetic and oneiric, ‘La Nebbia della Lupa’ accompanies us in a daydream, in a whirlwind of allegorical figures, changes of clothes, chromatic scales, masks, fans, Chinese lanterns in the colours of the iris, horse heads, Celtic helmets, shamanic epiphanies.

An imaginary theatre that springs from the substance of performative acts that investigate the mystery from which we all come and to which we are naturally attracted.
