A docu-puppet for puppets and men. A story born from the memories of Fabiana Iacozzilli, of the “Sisters of charity” primary school.
A docu-puppet in which adults are interpreted by puppets, and they reread the memories of a childhood lived with the fear of being beaten. These memories/pieces of wood move without pathos on planks that remember school benches. They are little wooden bodies that move in the terrifying world of Sister Lidia, the only real presence that escapes the view of the puppets and public.
Reasons why we would like to invite you to see this show:
We love shows that move freely among languages. Here are the puppets, but it is not a puppet theater; here are the proofs, but it is not a documentary; here are the memories, but it is not a tale. There is school, childhood, and the ability to tell them in depth.
