SPECIAL PROJECT FOR PERGINE FESTIVAL

“In cima alle favole” is a musical installation created by Teatro dei Venti alongside a group of old folks from retirement homes in Pergine Valsugana, Trento and Borgo Valsugana. Local legends linked to the mountains and nature are read and reworked by mixing them with personal memories and suggestions of a lifetime. A story-telling and listening project, an exercise that casts into the drawers of memories collecting the voices of our grandparents and the old tales, just like an audible book for the whole community. 

Why you should see it ➜  “Because our elders are the voices of the guardians of knowledge to be passed on. Because we need stories. Because the mountain of 50/60/70 years ago isn’t the same we have today and only they can tell us about it.”
