Il Semplice Profondo is the final creation of the ‘Creating Transformative Encounters’ workshop, focused on the Human Specific practice, an approach developed over years of research by the Danish company Cantabile 2. Human Specific defines a form of performance focused on the direct interaction between artist and spectator, in to which the classic modes of representation are replaced by the work on interactive artistic languages, by a multi-sensorial research, as well as by fluid dramaturgical structures.

The Simple Deep is inspired by the relationship between Humanity and Nature, as well as by the concept and function of rituality in our inner universe, structuring the proposals developed by the artists involved in a labyrinthine and immersive path, intended for one audience member at a time.
