GIACOMO
Teatro dei Borgia
PREVIEW
Giacomo Matteotti, a politician, journalist and anti-fascist, was kidnapped and killed in 1924 by order of Benito Mussolini. The show wants to shed light on two of Matteotti’s political speeches in the Italian Parliament: the one in which he denounced the connivance between the bourgeois political forces and the fascist squads, and the other in which Matteotti participated before its assassination.
