One of the most important figures in the Italian electronic scene of the last ten years. Founder of Dancity Festival, he is art director and resident DJ at Rec Room, one of the two clubbing rooms of the Serendipity club of Foligno. His sets are the result of extensive research, often driven by his own moods. An unpredictable musical selection, which he himself defines – with much, very much self-irony – of prompt consumption and easy identification. A musical journey that, independently of the address, usually culminates with a music piece by Prince.  

FRANCO B 

Born in Assisi, he approached the world of Djing in the mid 90s fascinated by house music and progressive sounds both in the most melodic and spiritual forms that in the most minimal ones. From there the in-depth analysis was continuous, cultivating genres of the past years such as funk, disco, afro music up to electronics. A vinyl collector, he loves to melt all his musical experiences in his DJ sets, resident of Dancity Nights and of the Serendipity club of Foligno, he has an inimitable charisma behind the turntables.

Dancity Festival is an international festival of culture and electronic music, characterized by experimentation in different creative fields, collaboration with national and international events, exchange and dialogue between different cultural worlds. The 12th edition will take place on the 24th, 25th and 26th of August in Foligno’s historical and artistic venues: three days of performances, concerts, live & DJ sets, installations and workshops, looking for new languages ​​in performance field and digital arts.
