Bim Bum Balaton was established in Bassano del Grappa in September 2010. The soul of the project is Tobia Fiorese, already founder of Sisma Tumbao. Bim Bum Balaton’s dj set mixes traditional Balkan sounds with the new balkan beat, but also with reggae, folk, world music and electro intersections, without forgetting the most authentic Italian tradition. With an average of 40 events a year, openings and after-shows for artists such as Bandabardò, Gogol Bordello, Goran Bregovic, Lo Stato Sociale, Max Gazzè, Modena City Ramblers and others, Bim Bum Balaton’s set qualifies as one of the most danced and appreciated sounds in northern Italy.
