Now online the sixth PAG Pergine Arte Giovane call for proposals
In 2021, The P.A.G. call for proposals is now in its sixth year. It is composed by two sections: a section on visual arts, for painting, graphics, photography, sculpture, installations and video art; a section on performing arts, for theatre, dance, urban interventions and participatory projects. Deadline for applications: 5 June.
The call, promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Pergine Valsugana, in collaboration with Pergine Festival, is aimed to artists under 35, resident in the Trentino Alto-Adige region, with the objective of supporting emerging creativity and encouraging youth participation in the cultural life of the territory. Groups or collectives can also participate, provided that 80% of the members respect the age limits and the residence requirement.
The proposals – unpublished, in the study phase or already realised – may concern the visual arts (photography, painting, graphics, sculpture, installation, video art, etc.) and the performing arts (theatre, dance, performing actions, urban interventions, participatory projects, etc.). Each artist/collective can submit only one application. The selected projects will receive a fee of 250 euros for the visual arts and 450 euros for the performing arts.
The works related to visual arts will be exhibited in Sala Maier in Pergine Valsugana for the whole duration of Pergine Festival; the selected projects in the performing arts will be included in the festival programme and proposed in an indoor or outdoor space, depending on the availability and the regulations of Covid-19 situation. Pergine Spettacolo Aperto, in collaboration with the Municipality of Pergine, will provide the selected artists with logistical and technical support.
